Missing recipe for Click Spring/Autumn

Today the whole morning and afternoon ( when I had the time ) I have been looking to the pile of magazines which I have; to find out from which magazine I had made this delicious strawberry dessert and it was just a waste of time , as I coudn't find them.
My hubby saw me sitting in the middle of a whole pile of magazine on the floor and was asking for what I am looking so I told him why and he was like OH!!!!!!!!!!! you will never find them , you will find after a year.

Which is true I loose things at home...............If I want to keep something safe I keep them and then it is kept it so safe that i myself woudn't remember where it is :-)

Few years back when we were back from our India trip, I had bought hubby dear few good shirts and I kept them that I coudn't find them for 2 years............... and on one occasion I cleaned up my christmas decoration and the next year I coudn't remember were i had kept them ( this was last year) it is not like we have such a huge place, just that i forget were i kept them and while looking for them i miss them even when it is in front of them.
This year when I clened up my Christmas decoration, i wrote donw in the calendar 2009 december page where it is kept :-) a idea my daughter suggested.

My daughter think it is old age catching up with me alas I have to fully agree with her.

So when I find the magazine i will sure post the recipe ( I warn you all, it might take a year )

Anyway I didn't want to miss so this is my delicous entry for their wonderful monthly event. Details here

What i remember about the recipe, there is kind of soft french cheese, cookies , strawberries and syrup and berryjam etc and there is no cooking .............

Looks delicious. I've had similar situations of forgetting the recipe which is why I've started to write a draft of the recipe as soon as I make it even if I'm not posting it right away. Nice clicks.

Happycook, my favorite kind of dessert...no cooking. It looks delicious, but then all of your photos look delicious, so real you can just reach into your computer screen and taste. Strawberries rock. So does your dessert.

Poornia thankyou and will do that.

Pavani, thatis indeed clever to do drafts....i am just lazy to do that, and just do thepost always in the last minute.

notyet100 will sure do that.

parita thankyou

I must say that I do remember where I put things but when it comes to ingredients I forget so when I am cooking I always take photos of the ingredients instead of writing them down and when I finish I write the recipe immediately. The dessert looks delicious.

But that looks too good not to try! Makes me want to play. Right now I am missing some old framed photos that I took down when the Christmas decorations went up. Cannot think where I hid them. I'll probably find them in the bottom of some ornament bin when Christmas rolls around again.

hi,
I find myself in your anecdotes in similar situations like when I confiscate some video game (Nin.. DS etc)from my kids when they do some mischiefs and I arrange it somewhere where they cannot reach or find, then, after few days when their punishment is over and when I want to return them, I search the whole house for the games which I forgot where I arranged......sounds like your problem right?
I don't think I have the courage to acccept it's the age now....maybe never ..:) :)

we should be doing some memory exercices (like counting in the descending order ex 26 A, 25 B, 24 C etc..) or something like that...heheheh

anyway, the dessert looks absolutely delicious!
