Few times I passed their Image Gallery and came back depressed seeing all the beautiful pictures from the other participants. If you ladies go and have a look there you will know what I mean.
But then I do think main thing is to join up the event.
And still there is more than 2 weeks to go so you can imagine how many more entries they are going to get.This is the mould to make achappam a traditional Kerela snack made with rice flour,coconut mil eggs etc.If you want to see how the achappam looks just visit Aparna's My Diverse Kitchen.
I have never made them, this mould I got gifted from one of our friends who went for their annual visit to Kerela.
I still have to use them......So in the meanwhile I thought I will make use of it atleast like this by taking a picture and sending for this months
I love it, so authentic and beautiful! My grandmother had one shaped like a flower, didn't use it much. Good one F!

A very pretty tool, Happy Cook! I have a very similar one we use in M'sia/S'pore to make festive yummy fried Bee Hive Biscuits. Are your biscuits deep fried too?

Af You got it from a fle market. I have been wanting to have one for years, but every time i forget to buy one in India. Shyama love the achapoms, she is always eating them when we are in India. I do have to try them here once.
I've never actually seen the mould before though I've had achappams.:)

Really great entry. Achappam mould looks great. I recently came to know its name Achappam, I think when Sandhya posted the recipe. We used to eat those achappams at a friend's place every Christmas. we simply called it wheels.:-)
